Related to this, the much loved children's movie: "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang" was named after a series of real cars called "Chitty Bang Bang 1 to 4" raced by Louis Zborowski in the 1920s. His name was allegedly a nod to a bawdy song about the permission chit that WW1 soldiers needed to go into town when they visited brothels.
